Important Dates

Submission of Extended Abstracts

Prospective authors are invited to submit extended one-page abstracts in English by June 10, 2005. Extended abstracts should be submitted via On-line Submission below as a PDF or Microsoft Word files, following the template format as in the file “Extended abstract guideline”. All extended abstracts will be peer reviewed by at least three independent reviewers. Those accepted will be assigned for presentation to either an oral or poster session. Although every effort will be made to accommodate the authors’ preference, the final decision on presentation type will rest on the Technical Program Committee. In either case, manuscripts of full papers will be invited for publication in the ISNM 2005 Proceedings. Accepted extended abstracts will also be distributed with the Final Program in printed form to the ISNM 2005 participants, and will be posted on-line at the ISNM 2005 web site

Review of Extended Abstracts

All extended abstracts will be peer reviewed by at least three independent reviewers through the Technical Program Committee. Reviewers can use On Line Review below for entering their reviews. Depending on the breadth, depth and quality of the work in the extended abstracts, the reviewers will recommend to the Committee invitation for oral presentation, poster presentation or no invitation of a full manuscript, while making every effort to accommodate the authors’ preference. Review of all extended abstracts must be completed by July 1, 2005 so that the authors are notified of acceptance by July 4th, 2005 and the extended abstracts are posted on-line on the ISNM 2005 web site.

Submission of Full Manuscripts

All extended abstracts accepted for oral or poster presentation at ISNM 2005 will also be invited to submit a full manuscript (6 page maximum) in English, by August 29, 2005, following the template format as the file “Full paper abstract guideline” (see link below). Upon notification of acceptance, full papers should be submitted via On-line Submission below as a PDF or MicroSoft Word files. Full papers will be published in the ISNM 2005 Proceedings, to be available at the conference in CD form, and will be posted on-line at the ISNM 2005 web site after the conference. Authors of selected papers will be encouraged by the Technical Program Committee to submit revised/extended versions for review to the Journal of Nanoengineering and Nanosystems, CAD Journal (Elsevier) and other journals of international societies.
